Oceanic salt low PH?

I am getting a PH of 7.8 @ 1.024 sg with freshly mixed (24hrs) Oceanic and R/O. I'm not sure what to do, this must be a bad batch? Should I add some buffer or will that hurt the ionic balance in the long run? Maybe I should return the bucket? I bought the 200g bucket.

hey half the fun is dreaming it up!
