Well didn't get my stand this week but I just couldn't wait so I filled up my tank, filled up a trash can hooked my overflow up, started my pump and I WILL have to choke down my pump a little but not much. LOL talk about water flow, through a 25 ft hose it was maintaining the water level so once I get it hooked up it could actually fill my tank too fast. 
But thanks to Darin @ captivereefs.com I'll have a SWCD to hook up to this wonderful pump . I now understand how the overflow and a sump will work.
