Play sand?

Can I add play sand to an established aquarium without hurting anything? I am moving my tank this sunday and that would be the best time to add it. What is your opinion? I have a 2 inch deep sand bed now but would like a deeper one

What type of play sand is it? You may not have to rinse it. You should put the established sand on top of the play sand.

How deep of a sand bed are you going for?
