Aquarium Advice Freak
I'm doing some modifications to my set-up right now, including plumbing a sump/fuge into a closet, replacing a hob fuge and skimmer, and painting the back of my tank.
I work crazy hours so this isn't a 1-day project. I've had to remove my skimmer while I'm trying to finish the job. But, it's going on one week. My Nitrates are a little high but other than that should I be okay running skimmerless for a short time? I got the slime on the top of my water already and it seems to be cloudy for some reason.
I should finish everything this weekend, but that's only if there are no problems (leaks, etc.)
