Purple "Spikey" algae?

I have noticed recently a purple algae looking thing growing on my LR. It looks simular to coraline but is a much lighter pink and is covered in tiny spikes.

I tried taking a phot but it is too small for my camera to pick up.

Any ideas?

You might want to research forminferans. Pink, hard, and spiky. We have them in our tank as well. They grow in our coralline algae.
