What else could I put into my reef that aren't corals? Are gorgonians considered corals or are they plants? It'd be nice to fill in some spots with something different. Thanks in advance!

There corals I have two. I'd send a pic but my lights are out for the night. Cool looking sort of plant looking.

Not all are. There are some that are photosynthetic and some aren't. And they do require a lot of water flow.

Yeah I kinda figured that. The few tanks at my LFS have a bunch of diff kind with an MP40 running them. Lots of current haha

Here's my gorgonians

Yeah that's exactly what I want. How fast do they grow?

The first pic the tall one was all most dead at the lfs, most of it was only sticks, talked them down to 10.00. It's repaired it's self and is growing about 1/4in more in 4 months. The other got dragged be hide my rocks by my enchant in my old tank, and yep did not look good. 8 months latter looking good and growing.
You should see them in the ocean.

I can only imagine. My LFS has an assortment of them ranging from 12.99-24.99 depending on size and type obviously. May go get 1 or 2 types

Picked up a purple bottle brush gorgonian. Looks pretty cool. All polyps r extended finally. Definitely gonna be buying more
