Tail flicking habit

I just did a water change and my maroon clownfish has started flicking the sand in a certain area with his tail creating a dip. Is this strange or has anyone had this happen before? Thanks, anything will help.

I`ve seen mine do that several times. He`s just rearranging things his way. He`s OK.
