I just started my 29 with 40# of LR from liverocks.com (awesome rock BTW). I don't have a test kit yet. Which one would you recommend to cover all parameters? Do I have to purchase several different kits or is there a kit that has all tests (phosphates and calcium included).

Thanks

Look at the last kit on this page. I personally have the aquarium pharmaceuticals for the ph,nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia, and individual kits for the alk, ca, copper, etc. This kits seems to have just about everything you might want.

I always recommend SeaChem Marine Basic kit, or the Salifert line. AP kits aren't bad in general, but they aren't as accurate as the first two I mentioned.

I second SeaChem and Salifert. My PH is Seachem... CA is Salifert... I have AP right now for the basic am trite trate, but I'll be upgrading later this month. :D
