Upgrade to MH 100g Tank

I started a FOWLR and quickly changed my mind, I want some nicer stuff now!

My buddy says I need to upgrade to MH in order to get some corals and stuff. I currently have 4 60 Inch T12 Bulbs. 2 10k White, 2 Actnic.

Anyone have opinions on this? I was looking at some MH retrofit kits on ebay. I know to stay away from odyessa, anyone else I should steer clear of?

Any recommendations?

First, decide what kind of corals you want to go after. Depending on what you want, you may be better of with T5HO rather than MH. The MH will give you the best range, though, if you want to maintain the option to have no limitations on corals.

Definately stay away from the odyssea fixtures.

Do you have a canopy to mount a retrofit kit into, or do you need a self-sustaining fixture?
