What all will a skimmer remove?

I just got an Aqua C Remora Pro. I Have heard that it will remove water conditioners and clorine removers. So if it removes the conditoner, is it removing the clorine as well?

No it will not remove chlorine. Chlorine will actuially evaporate out of water on its own. Chloramines are the ones that are bad and do not disapear by themselves or with a protein skimmer. A skimmer will remove disolved organic material as well as some solids. Dissolved organic matter is compounds which form after food decays, something dies or fish waste. There is more but these are the basics that are removed. Water conditioners usually make the skimmer go crazy or not skim at all.
