Where have all my Sessile Barnacles go?
My live rock I obtained from LR.com last week came with tons of Sessile barnacles that were always filter feeding. Now...nearly all of them are gone. Just empty holes where they one lived.
Any idea what may have happened to them? My ammonia never got over 0.25ppm. I only have a few snails and crabs in the tank.
Are they gone forever?? Was the fact there was no livestock, thus no food, did they starve? Should I actually feed my live rock...if so...what should I feed?
Thanks,
Wc
