So we have had our 29 gallon tank set up for about 3 weeks. After a few days we put 1 balloon Molly, 1 silver dollar, and 1 peppermint Platy in it. The Balloon Molly died and the silver dollar came down with fin rot and died. We had to treat out tank so I wasn't able to set it up right away.

Today I was finally able to set it up!
From our 45 gallon tank we transferred our 2 Pineapple Swordtails and 1 Tuxedo Swordtail. Also today, I bought 2 beautiful Powder Blue Dwarf Gouramis and added them. We replaced the Balloon Molly that died with another one and the peppermint Platy still swimming.

Parameters
Ph 7.6
Ammonia 0
Nitrites .25ppm ( I know we aren't supposed to have any. But with treating the fin rot, we also killed good bacteria. I am surprised the balloon Molly and peppermint Platy didn't die)
Nitrates between 10-20ppm

I am excited to watch our tank grow and establish.

Our goal is to have a "nighttime" look. Our other tank is very bright

Hey very nice tank!!!

Hope the gouramis aren't males, or you will have a fight on your hands :/
Also, the silver dollar really needed a tank of at least 75 gallons

We plan on getting a 75. The silver dollar was only 2"
