4.5 Ph

What are you testing the pH with? I don't know of any commonly available test kits that would accurately give a reading of 4.5.

I have just sone a 40% water change added a half dose of alkaline buffer a turned all the lights off except for 1 a UV light and all the fish started swimming around and are really happy. I have to Ph testers. 1 says that it is 6.8 and another says 7.2.
