I have enough money and space to get either one. I'm not sure which would look better though. I'm leaning towards the rio de oros but I'm not 100% yet.

No QT. I spent awhile observing them and the LFS' tanks are all sharing the same water. Not a trace of ICH or sick fish in any of them. I haven't had ich in almost 10 years of fish keeping. The QT tub wasn't set up either I took it apart after doing some planting work and needed the tub haha.
Ich will show itself in no time in my tank. 82-84F should force an Ich cycle in 2 weeks if present.
Not worried though. I'm more scared of neon tetra's disease but I haven't seen any symptoms yet.
I'd probably QT any fish I get from now on as now I've reached a number of fish that would create an almost untreatable epidemic. I did QT the neons before I put them in with my precious otos though.
