Algae getting out of hand! :( Suggestion?

I love my otos & got them at Petsmart. They where really healthy & got to work on the algae right away. If you have something other than flat surfaces/big stuff like fake or real plants they do a great job. The plecos which are way bigger have trouble with stuff like that. My otos also seem more hardy than plecos. I have tried to keep them twice & lost them both times but during that same time have never lost an oto.
 
i second lp26kwan's opinon. I have a few albino bristle nose pleco's in my tank right now, and they are always grazing the tank for algae, I do however feed them cucumber, romaine lettuce, algae waffers, and have a piece of driftwood in there for them as well. But if you don't mind the extra work, the bristlenose plecos (i like the albino version) are a real neat addition to your tank, and grow a max of 7-8 inches.
