We originally had 2 golden mystery snails and they passed away. Then we got 1 golden mystery snail, and hes the only one in the tank with some guppies and we have a 25 gallon tank. A couple of weeks later we saw a baby snail... and then we counted 30 of them. But recently, we’re seeing more and the new ones are so tiny like a clear speckle that’s moving! We checked above the lid, around the lid, the lights.. and theres no clutch at all, but somehow these tiny babies are popping up everywhere. Yes we have new plants we bought from a local aquatic store that were inside tanks. Ive seen videos of mystery snail eggs with the clutch and it looks nothing like what we have in our tank.

1. Are they mystery snails?
2. How did they get there?
3. How is it possible to get more babies?!
4. Would aquatic stores buy them? We really dont want 30+ snails in our tank.
5. I have attached pics and even of the tiny new ones if you can spot them!

They look like pest snails...they'll come in anything you get from the fish store. They're not really harmful but they are prolific breeders and super hard to control. An assassin snail might help, but if it gets out of control you should take them out and crush them. Don't flush them down a drain.
