Best colour lighting for neons?

What colour lighting would people recommend for showing off neon tetras to their best? I currently use a UVB tube (theres a turtle in there too so this is needed) that does wonders for the blue, but the reds look muted.
I'm contemplating using a mercury vapour bulb for UV so that will leave the fluoro space free for a different coloured tube.
 
I have a blue led strip that comes on in the evenings and mornings, the timer overlaps with the main lights and I notice that the neons really glow when both lights are on. When only the blue led is on, later in the evening the neons really stand out.

Rgb leds with optional moonlight setting is my choice. they'll always make neons pop and when you want that little extra like Scots pic? It's there.
