Betta feeding

I just moved my betta into my community tank today but I was wondering if he can eat the flake food or if I need to feed him betta pellets

Feeding Bettas flake is perfectly acceptable, I usually switch between flake and bloodworm every couple of days.

Mine spits out flake food unless you grind it up really fine. And yeah bloodworms. And the odd pea maybe once a week
