Bored with extra 10 gallons!

I'm getting super bored waiting to set up my 55 gallon! I have no money and a few 10 gallon tanks laying around does anyone have suggestions on what to do with them to keep myself busy. I live between two parks so I have plenty of access to natural supplies. I'm planning on turning one of them into a Rummy Nose Tetra breeding tank.

How about a beta tank. You can put some African Dwarf Frogs in there as well.

How would they do without lighting for little? I think I have a heater I could search for.

Ember tetras or celestial pearl danios would be nice schooling fish without the betta.
