Jun 23, 2012 #2 Mumma.of.two Aquarium Advice Obsessed Joined Jul 17, 2011 Messages 11,142 Location Sunny Queensland, Australia Newish tank? Looks like diatoms. You can scrub them off quite easily if it bothers you.

Click to expand... I agree looks very " diatom" -ish to me. hermits will eat it , u can clean it , normal tank stuff. A result of silicates in your water.
