"Females, have lesser coloration or markings. A fairly easy killifish to keep. Mine are in moderately hard water, temperature in the low 70s F., with a tablespoon of non-iodized salt per 5 gallons to ward off velvet infections. They eat live and frozen foods (brine, bloodworms, blackworms) voraciously, and even eat flake foods when the get in feeding frenzy mode. They can jump so I would suggest covers.Typical soil-spawner with an incubation time of 8 weeks if eggs are stored in the mid-70s "

Do yours spawn in your water? I've never had luck spawning SA annuals in a ph over 6.5.

Who are you asking ? I was quoting from an EBay auction. I've never owned a Killifish.

Sorry, it sounded like you had some experience with them, I didn't see the auction link.
