I went out to my LFS today and got a pair of koi angelfish and a pair of german blue rams for my 55g. I knew rams like plants, and went home without getting some because I didn't bring enough money (i'm taking all my money next trip ) . I've got some java moss throughout my tank, but I know it's not enough. I've got 5x angels, 5x cories, a pleco, my ram pair... I have low light, though, I get a few hours of natural sunlight while my tank lights are off. I'm not really willing to do ferts or co2 (too young for a job? No income). Do you guys think java fern would be a good plant to keep to help plant population? Thanks in advance.

PS: Other plant recommendations that fit my current situation are appreciated.

As are Anubias. You'll just need to tie them to something or keep the rhizomes unburied.
