Yes and No. It's ok because the danio's and betta will leave eachother alone, but the fast movement of the danio's good stress your betta out.

Try it and keep in eye on him. If he seems a little stressed from all the movement then take him out. How big is the tank?
 
thanks......its a new 10 gallon that i just set up for qt/hospital...........have always wanted to put a betta in a "real" tank..........the wife had one in one of those store sold vases..............needless to say.................
 
Oh yeah, I pesonally think he will be fine, but then again, every betta is different. Just monitor him for a week or so.

Also, don't be alarmed if your betta doesn't eat for a week or two. It's normal. They are just adjusting to the new environment and probably a bit surprised they have soooo much room versus that tiny cup.
