this is my first big tank it has a t8 aqua glo light plus a t8 power glo in the canopy, the canopy collects a lot of condensation and when i open it the condensation goes everywhere is this normal?

And also im doing my first fishless cycle i usualy have cold water fish but for the cycle im using a heater, this is my first time using a heater when i first turn it on it heats up very rapidly starts to bubble the water around it then cools down is this normal

sorry for so many questions latley, thanks

it is a fluval m series heater when i first put it in the tank i fully submersed it for about a minute before realising there where air bubbles coming from the connection where the mains supply joins onto the unit, then i realised there was a maximum line lol
how can i help the condensation seems like an awful lot tbh the lights wont short will they if it gets on the lights?
