I just got a new tank (I traded one of my TV's for it; 32 inch for 40G) and with it came a package of Coralife BAC-300F freshwater nitrifying bacteria.
A couple of questions...
Does this stuff expire? There's no date on here, but I can ask my sister-in-law when she got it, but that date will be somewhat unreliable, and it may be a few years old. It's in pretty hardy, opaque packets.
Does this stuff work? Has anyone here used it, and did it help in any way on your initial cycle?
