discus part 2

It's up to you, mine never bothered my discus or any other fish for that matter. There's always risks involved when putting fish into a confined area.
 
I keep bristlenose plecos in my discus grow out tanks, both discus and bristlenose grow very well together, I feed a lot of beefheat mixture to my growing discus and the bristlenose clean up what the discus don't eat. Assasin snails also do well in these tanks because they also like the beefheart mixture. I keep bristlenose and clown loaches in my planted discus tank and they get along fine. I also have emperor tetras in the planted tank with the discus. I used to have a male betta in my discus tank and he did fine living in the same tank with the discus.
 
ive just got tetras with him... neons, bloodfins, lemons, serpaes, and a few danios.(even though theyre not tetras) hes fully grown, about 3 to 4 years old.
