Hello everyone. Savannah and I are enjoying the 30 gallon tank very much. Savannah is doing a great job maintain the tank and water quality. We have lost two tetras (black tip on fin and orange something...) though. Both times we have found them stuck to the filter pick up tube screen. The filter is a Whisper 40/70. We have the tube length adjusted to about 4 inches from the gravel. We cant understand what might be happening to them. Could the filter setup be the problem, or are the fish already distressed before being suck to the pickup screen? How do you go about diagnosing this? Savannah is in the room right now trying to push the half alive tetra around to get him going but I fear he may have been stuck to the pickup for too long and is checking out. Any help would be appreciated.
