Filter stopped working!

Hey everyone! I am desperately needing help!

I just finished changing my tank water and had turned off everything so I can do it. After I refilled the tank I went to turn on the filter and it doesn't work. They filter tube doesn't pull the water up.
Would anyone have experience in this and help me please.

Can you hear the impeller turning? Did you fill the filter body with water (most do not self-prime).

Omg thank you so much I didn't even think of that. It usually starts on its own so I found it to be strange. Works now at least it seems lol

If these does not help you, check the motor fan thing. Theres a rubber peice at the end of it that will get messed up and will prevent it from pulling water. Also check to see if you can hear it hum.
