I have a power filter for filtration. A Whisper 30-60 for my 29 gallon tank. Do any of you's recommend to mix a underground filtration with a power filter? I'm just kickin the idea around of having an underground filter along with my power filter. Anyone think this is a good idea? Or should I not mix those 2 together?? Any opinions would help alot soo much. Thanks once again everyone.

Tho some people still favour the UGF, they are quickly falling out of favour for the power and cannister filters.

I find power filters to be quite good (if you want to save a few $$ on media for that filter, go to petsmart and get a topfin cartridge, it is bi fold (to halves come together) allowing you to put regular floss in the cartridge (cost about 1$/Sq. yd. instead of 10$ for a box of 8 filters. Also works if you want to use carbon or any other media.. (just tossing this in as a bit of helpful info)
