Fish identity?

Can someone please help me figure out what type of fish these are

Its very small the picture is just so close up, I also thought of a danio but the markings are different

It looks like a medaka rice fish. It could also be a mosquito fish.

There are so many fish that look similar so the only think I can think to do is go back to where I bought it from and ask

Mousquitos have black tails
I think it's a rosy minnow- I've seen them like that

Ok thanks so much,,ive researched some pictures and they do like similar to rosy minnow so that is what ill go with

When you created this thread it was put in the wrong category. The "Fish Profiles" section is for fish profiles only. It has since been moved to the "Freshwater & Brackish - General Discussion" category.

Definitely a Rosy Red Minnow. Can't tell you how many of those I've bought through the years for my Bichirs.
