In the absence of my BNP who moved into the big tank, my driftwood in the hospital tank is growing flowy stuff on it. Is this bad? There's a lot. ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1413071924.829430.jpg

Na it will go away on its own or do what I did just take it out and run a clean scrub brush over it. It never came back on mine.

Give it a smell. If it smells awful then the wood is too fresh, and is full of sap. If that's the case it needs boiled for ages, or left in the sun for a year or two. If there's no smell, it's likely fine.
