Please can anyone advise on whether the algae on my bogwood is ok?
The wood has been in the tank for 6 weeks, is leeching less tannins, with water readings all good and the fish appearing very healthy and happy.
Just not sure if the algae is a good thing?

Algae won't do any harm, its just a thing that happens in water where you have light and nutrients. If you dont like the appearance you need to reduce the lighting and nutrients. Increased water changes, reducing the number of fish or increasing the amount of live plants will all reduce the nutrient levels.

You can add fish or inverts that will eat algae.
