Freshwater Fish and Plants in New York City

So since New World Aquarium closed its doors, I'm having a hard time finding a good shop for freshwater fish and plants. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm not sure of any LFS in NY City, but if you're looking for someone online, I really recommend these guys!

Tell me about it. I have been looking for a good one for a while now. Ive been going to Fishtown USA in queens, but I really hate going there. Everything is so over priced, and the staff have no idea what theyre talking about. The one indian guy that knows his **** is only there like 2 days a week.

I dont understand how a huge city like ours can not have a good aquarium shop, I just dont see how it's possible lol
