Hey all! Me and my brother have acquired 4 green spotted puffers and we're thinkin of raising snails for them to eat to keep their beaks trimmed back. We were wondering water the fastest breeding snails were that could keep up with feedings... Any ideas would be appreciated thanks :)

I've been wondering about these fish too. Are they fully freshwater? I also heard feeding crayfish can help keep their beaks trimmed. What do they eat normally?

No, GSP are brackish to (preferably) marine fish. Pond snails reproduce insanely quickly. Keep them in a breeder trap(a large plastic one) in a freshwater tank and you'll have hundreds in a week or so, depending on how many you start with. Just be sure you don't let them into the main tank. I hate the little buggers, they are impossible to get rid of.
