Hi everyone. Accidentally poured too much food into tank tonight. Tried to scoop as much out as possible but loads still in tank. Did immediate 30% water change. Tank is 10 gallon with five pencils, 6 neon tetra & 3 guppies plus many rcs. Water parameters have always been excellent. Any ideas please

Use a gravel vacuum to clean out extra food. Also clean out the "sucker thing" on the filter because we had some pellets stuck in there and our snail died trying to get them. (Was stuck in filter) Please don't ask how he got there, we don't even have a clue.

They will eat food on the ground but not rotting food. They also need to be kept in a school of 4+ which would he unadvisable in a tank that's fully stocked line yours.

I heard they really only need 3 corydoras in a herd but that is still too much for your tank

All fine in tank. Accident happened over a week ago. No spike in ammonia or nitrates/nitrites and no loss of life thank god. But thanks all for the advice
