Help with added plants!

Hey! I just added two more plants to my 10 gallon aquarium and they don't seem to have roots yet. Can anyone explain how they planted them in their dirt/sand/gravel? I heard about tying them to rocks and other things?

Ps: (yes I do have the proper lighting and fertilizers for my plants.)

Depends on the plants. Some you can float till they get roots and some do better pushed into the substrate.

Hard to tell what kind of plants they are. I have them floating now.

We really can't help you unless we know what kind of plant it is. Can you provide a picture?

Plant ID is a must, no other way to know.
