I'm moving July 31st, literally across the street. I have a 15g and little 5g- both of which are soon to be upgraded... Any ideas on how to make the move easier on everyone? The fish, the people... Lol

Just across the street? That's an easy one :)

1 - Load the fish in a rubbermaid tote with the heater / filter running
2 - Tear down the tank and set up across the street
3 - Fill with appropriately temped and dechlorinated water
4 - Acclimate the fish the same way that you did when you bought them

I like to use plastic pitchers with a handle that will let me hang them on the side of the tank for acclimating new fish. I found some at a dollar store and picked up a stack.

I move my tank back and forth to school by putting my fish in a 5 gal bucket with air hole in the top. I don't even worry about a heater or filter. I've sucessfully done this 4 times and haven't lost a fish

Thanks guys both great ideas.... ;) I'll probably use a bucket and just cart them to the new place.... Then set the heater and filter in the bucket while I set up the tank.... ;)
