I just lost 4 dwarf gouramis and I couldn't find anything wrong with them. They just started lying on the gravel until they got sucked into my HOB filters.

I'd say it's very real but I've only seen and heard about it affecting powder blue dwarf gouramis. Not sure why.

Well, you can't say for sure that that's what it was.

Are your readings good?

Cycled tank?

Acclimation process?

Unhealthy stock from lfs?

There are many variables to figuring out why a fish dies. I'm sorry you lost yours. But to lose all 4 at once, that's a little weird.

My readings are good my tank has been running for about 6 months so it is cycled I acclimated them like it says to with the bag float and putting some tank water in and pouring the bag water out etc all in all nothing seems off

Well, it might be then. Or, it may be poor stock from your lfs. Or, it may be stress-related depending on the other species you keep in the same tank.
