Ive been told that the better condition the water is in, the more fish will thrive, hence grow. Also feeding them foods that are more from their natural environment (i.e. brine shrimp, bloodworms, etc etc etc) will promote breeding and rapid growth.
I do a 1/3 water change on my 55 gal freshwater tank and my 2 bala sharks and raphael have grown very very quickly!!! I only feed them flakes and "tropical crumbles" which reminds me Im almost out :)

lol the bala and raphael are quick growers on their own. Chriznat20 You may wanna watch out about those bala sharks because they grow to be about 10 inches each

Yeah i think the rapahel is responsible for eating some of my neon tetras :( Little turd that he is .. hehe he can barely make it out of his decorative house any more hes so plump!

Oh and those bala sharks are quick growers. I cant believe how far they've come since I bought them!
