I am not sure why but the chest/ ttummy of my molly has ballooned out the last few days.....not sure if it mated with another breed of fish in the tank. The other Molly died a month ago.

Will it pooch like that... it like grew this week... it was never that cubbyhole....

Do I need a like a special place to keep her till then. I have 9 other fish...

I personally don't use those because it can stress the mama out to the point where she might abort the fry. but what you do with your fish is totally up to you :). If you do decide to use the breeder box wait until she is square and actively dropping then put her in and she will continue to drop in the box, this I have done on occasion, sometimes it works with some and sometimes it doesn't. Make sure to watch and observe her while in the box, if she seems stressed then take her out. But IMO I wouldn't keep her in there for the duration of the pregnancy.
