This is all in french, but definately worth a look! 8O
Go down through the pictures, until you see the guy doing his "routine
maintenance"... :D

If you can read french, it's actually quite interesting, the guy built all
this by himself, took him five years before putting water in the tank.

Enjoy!

Very impressive...takes a lot of dedication to accomplish anything on that level. A real nice touch is the pics of the owner (hopefully it's the owner...can't read french) scuba diving in the tank.

il fait la natation avec la peche? a mon avis ce'st absolument super!!!!!

If you meant to say: He does (you said "the" here) swim (nager is the proper word for swim, natation is swimming) with the fish (Poisson is fish, peche is fishing)? My opinion it is (It's "c'est" nost "ce'st") absolutely super!!!

Great job for a beginner though!

I guess his web site is too busy!
I just tried again and it's not working...
try again later, it's worth it!

Hm, the site isn't working for me. :bad-words: (don't worry not actually swearing over it, just really want to see it) :?

GOOD LORD!!!!!! thats immense

can i get one???? LOL

how many gallons is that? 5000?

Just got a peek at it. Lets see, about 10 feel long, 4 feet high, and lets call it 4 feet deep. The AA calculator says about 1200 gallons!

Awesome.

DUDE that is too cool!!! Now I wish I could have something like that! :D hehe! I got to forward that to my friend!

Wonder what his water bill is like :p

I can't see any tetras, but I suppose you could put about 600 of them in there lol!!!

The schooling effect must be ace!!

Pretty close, tomK2! That is 4000 liters, so about 1060 galllons...
A lot of water. Imagine an accident! He says the glass (only the front) cost him
1230 Euros (USD. 1600.) A little over an inch thick!

If you haven't explored his site, this is showing the tank installation from behind,
in the garage: http://membres.lycos.fr/lafuitedebretx/photoalbum0.html
Nicely done, huh?
