Longest lasting carbon?

I read some where that ultra activated carbon never needs to be replaced? not sure if that is true.

Whats is the longest lasting carbon out there?

That is not true. All carbon must be replaced. I use the Black Diamond...it seems to do well. From the home page, click on the "articles" link. There is an article on activated carbon there that might interest you.
