Well, the thing is that I grew up in an Asian country and I remember there were street vendors that sold the snails that look almost as same as those MTS. And yes, they sold them cooked (usually boiled in salted water), and man they were good. For 3 cents or so I could get a small paper cup full of those, and I'd sit down with my friends sucking the hell out of them. They're pointy part were crushed to ease the sucking effort. So there's an idea for a new street vendor delicacy. (I hear eww's everywhere already)
