I went too the LFS and wanted to get a female Betta , but not too sure now that it is . It was looking like a female when I brought home but now since it's calmed down and not stressed , it's true form comes out .

Liveaquaria.com or aquabid.com are both good sites for ordering females. Liveaquaria.com guarantees their fish for 14 days I believe, but you can't 'see' your fish, where as aquabid you are bidding on the actual female.
