My 3 year old's first fish tank.

It's still cloudy. I just put the sand in today and it never seems to rinse well enough. I put my neon tetras and the Top Fin 20 from my planted tank on it. Parameters were 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and almost 0 nitrate. pH was 8.0 which concerned me a bit but apparently the fish are adaptable and being in my planted tank they were already used to the pH rising and falling each day.

Gary is my favorite!! I used to have a neon blue dwarf gourami named SpongeBob. We won't discuss what happened to him though! LOL! You need to get a nerite or mystery snail and name it Gary!!

Oh sorry, I just assumed because of the pirates but I'm sure any kid would love that fish tank! You might want to check your decorations because I've heard they sometimes have a metal insert...
