My male platy wont leave female alone

I have 3 fish in my 10gallon.

1 male platy and 2 female platys. My male will not leave one of them alone and she is about ready to drop some fry. Should I move her to a tank or move him to a tank?

No injures or anything just annoyance.

i personally think you should take out the female to another tank (maybe a nursery) to birth and for the fry to grow if u want to keep them. or get a breeder net and let her drop in there and use the fry as feeders after a few days. has she squared off and her vent opened?
