huh. I didnt know that they like the water THAT acidic. Ive been freaking out because the tank Ive got mine in seems to drop ph really quickly after a water change and I cant figure out why. But all the neons I put in it are in great condition, so I guess they like it.

Try to make sure that you stabilize the pH with the pH neutralizer I mentioned before, or with the SeaChem Discus Buffer, which lowers the pH to about 6. Constant change in your pH will stress your fish, and probably make them more susceptible to disease...
