Well one of my 3 neons made a magical disapearance, and i have looked high and low, now on the carpet, or in the filter, or in my new gravel. Dont know maybe it decomposed quick? any ways any other places to check?

Neons do tend to dissapear fast when they die. Usually what you do find is a fuzzy thing about 3/8 of an inch long that was their spine.

With the danios and cories, a little fish could quickly disappear. Test your water parameters to make sure everything is safe.

I lost a neon too...I felt so bad but I searched high and low in that aquarium and found nothing. I feel better reading what others have said - makes sense, a tiny fish like that would become fast food to the others. Sorry to hear about the neon.
