What size tank, is it planted, how long has it been set up, and lastly what stock is in the tank already?

10 gallon going to plant some more 5 tetra

Three is the max you could get and you will have to suppliment their diet with algae wafers and veggies like blanched zucchini. Your tank should be mature enough and hopefully is closer to the six month mark.
