Over Feeding at Bix Box Store

I just got back from a big box store. I won't say the name.
A woman was feeding the fish while I was there. I couldn't believe the amount of flakes she quickly tossed into each small tank. The top of each tank was covered with flakes & there only a few fish in each tank. I should have said something but I decided to mind my own business.

Yea its a waist and the fish will die as nitrates and that will scyrocket

Chances are the nitrates won't be the cause of death since their filtration and WC schedules exceed what the novice is aware of. Chances point most likely that it will be related to bloat from the amount of food they intake.
